Us Now

Well,
Things are going....
I'll leave it at that,
Things are going.
Peter is currently sick.
Joshua is currently still a bugger.
And Me,
Well, I am currently busy doing everything that Peter and Joshua aren't.

Joshua has been learning some sign language lately.
He can now sign two of his most vital words-
Fart and Joke.
Yes.
And he signs them to me every chance he gets,
Then he laughs like he is really funny...
Like a two year old would do.

Peter is still 'classily' funny.
That's right.
Classily funny.
He loves making jokes,
But they are always the
I'm-smarter-than-you-so-try-to-come-up-with-a-good-come-back
Kind of jokes and are often put together with his
'You're dumb' look.
It's hard to argue with him.

Words often heard around our house are:
"STOP IT!"

Here It Is

This is Peter's Birthday Post.
And even though this song is dumb,
It's Peter's favorite.
So it is now on our blog.
Yay

For his birthday today,
I ran down to his room with a bag full of exactly 12 balloons.
And for the first minute I shook that darn bag,
Only about 2 came out.
It didn't go exactly how I planned it....
But it was still great.

He also got exactly what he wanted for his birthday,
And because he got what he wanted,
We listened to Justin Bieber all the way to Thanksgiving Point,
AND all the way back.
We might even have the CD memorized now.
And we are now all in love with the song "Under the Mistletoe",
Just like Peter said we would be.
I hate it when he's right.
Once at Thanksgiving Point,
We watched a man carve a snowflake out of ice (Which was actually kind of cool)
Then we watched Santa's reindeer walk around in a circle and eat yucky stuff on the ground
And after that got boring, if you can imagine it ever doing that,
We went into the store and walked around in the warmth.
It was great!
Then we went to McDonalds and got some apple pies
Because Peter loves those for who knows what reason.
And we have now completed our day with the Birthday song.
So Happy Birthday Peter!!

And I am so excited for Christmas.

You Might Have Heard...

So, Some of you might have heard...

Joshua and I got in a car accident.

BUT IT WASN'T OUR FAULT

Honestly.

We are oh so lucky to have come out without any major injuries.

So hooray for that.

But I can't say the same for our car.

Believe it or not, 

The picture makes the car look a lot better than it was. 

Yikes huh?

But everything is going to turn out fine.

Hopefully.

Something good today.....

It's Emma's Birthday!

YAY!

She is twelve and super excited.

So Peter and I made her a poster 

which we wrote things such as:

"I want to go to there" (a quote from one of our favorite shows right now '30 Rock')

Justin Bieber

26 Days 'til Christmas

And many more.

SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!

Well...

Today was fun.
The last day before Thanksgiving Break!
Yay!
Guess what we did?
We went shopping!
I think I love shopping with You and Ugly
More than anything else.
They just make everything...hmmm...more exciting?
Well,
First we went to
Forever XXI
Then to DownEast
And then some other store
And Ended up at Nordstroms.
Believe it or not,
This took us more than 2 hours.
And guess what we got?
2 pink shirts (me) 1 pair of Sunglasses and 1 pair of Jeans (Joshua) 1 Hat (Peter)
Short list, huh?
I think that it has something to do
With the fact that Joshua spent forever trying on
Almost every single pair of sunglasses in Nordstoms.
But I can't say that I didn't enjoy watching him do it.
Because it was actually very entertaining.
We eliminated about half of the sunglasses
Because they somehow hooked onto Joshua's eyebrows
And would go up and down when he made different
Facial expressions.
It was so dumb and SO funny.
I should have taken a picture...
AnYWaYs....
So, our niece is staying with us for a few days
She is 7 and in the 2nd grade
She has told us two very profound things tonight.
The first was when we were at our sister's band performance.
As we were walking out of the school, she looked at some trash on the ground,
And said:
"Wow, this school is really trashy!"
The school is the richest one in the district by far,
With the best of everything.
So, can you guess what she told us while she was drinking her hot chocolate?
"Look! I'm an elephant and I'm drinking my medicine!"
Yup (:
She had a straw in her mouth
And was dipping a spoon in the hot chocolate cup
And then drinking the hot chocolate out of the spoon.
Both were said meaningfully and totally serious.
She is too cute.

What a Saturday

So,
Today is Emma's 12 Birthday Party.
Pretty exciting huh?
Guess what job Peter, Joshua and I got stuck with?
Babysitting.
Yup.
Joshua is doing a pretty good job,
Watching the movie we put on for the kids.
I'm doing a pretty good job,
Posting on our blog.
And Peter is doing a pretty good job,
Entertaining the kids.

I played with them for a little while...
We played Jenga
It was, hmm..interesting?
Chloe (the 6 year old girl)
Had lots of fun knocking down the tower.
Logan (the 8 year old boy)
Had lots of fun 'winning'
(Honestly, I don't think anyone won
Peter and I didn't really know what was going on)
And Peter and I had [lots?] of fun
Watching...
Well, just Chloe and Logan.
